The Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China (“West Forum” for abbreviation) has been held successfully for 9 times running. It has become a Chinese economic and trade gathering for promoting cooperation between East, Middle and West China and harmonious development of regional economy. On the average, each of it has more than 2000 booths, 30 provincial delegations, 100 thousand visitors and 350 thousand admissions.
The tenth West Forum will be put on during April 6 to 10, 2006 in Xi’an Shaanxi. Its theme is to “promote a harmonious development through the cooperation between East, Middle and West China”. It is composed of investment negotiation and commodity trade, of which investment negotiation is the key.
The Investment negotiation hall is scheduled at Xi’an International Exhibition Centre. The provincial and special delegations will invite a lot of project units for business inviting, deals of high technology and property rights and tourism developing, enterprises for investment promotion and mediators to conduct the relevant investment cooperation and business consultation.
The commodity trade hall is schedules at Shaanxi International Exhibition Center. Here you could find many characteristic displays, such as exhibition for comprehensive trade of provinces, delicacies exhibition of Taiwan, commodities show of the three countries from ASEAN, energy-saving style architecture show, applied technology show on information and communication, exhibition on produce and equipment of energy saving and environmental protection technology, light and textile produce expo, handicraft and gift show for tourism as well as large engineering and construction machinery and vehicles. Besides, the exhibited commodities fair will be held as soon as the formal duration ends.
The fifth China Western Region Foreign Investment Promotion Fair is scheduled of the investment negotiation hall, with 125 booths for foreign clients. Match appointment and varieties of investment promotion activities could be conducted during the fair.
The corresponding promotion activities for investment and trade will be accomplished on the spot so as to satisfy clients and mediators at home and abroad according to the attitude of matter of fact and motto of serving enterprises.
