INFORMATION ABOUT KYANITE
Kyanite is a mineral gemstone. Kyanite is composed by the elements of Aluminium, Oxygen and Silicon, which when combined form the mineral Kyanite which is then- Aluminium Silicate. Kyanite is mostly found in crystal shapes, and in colours of blue.
Kenya is one of the countries that have high reserves of Kyanite within its soils. It is mostly found in the eastern parts of Kenya.
USES OF KYANITE
Kyanite is used primarily in refractory and ceramic products, including porcelain plumbing fixtures and dinnerware. It is also used in electrical insulators and abrasives. An interesting property of kyanite is that it undergoes an irreversible expansion when fired at high temperature. Kyanite can also be used as a crystal and gemstone.
a) KYANITE USES AS A CRYSTAL: Kyanite has long been believed to be a crystal that possesses metaphysical energies. It can been used for meditation, healing and for spiritual needs.
b) KYANITE USES AS A GEMSTONE: Kyanite is also used as a semi-precious gemstone. It can be used for making jewelry and artistic items.

Our Kyanite is can be used for Refractory and Ceramic industry, Jewelry and Colored Gemstone Industries in Kenya and other Countries. Our Company is able to export large amounts of Kyanite as the customer/ or buyer would need.
1. DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS OF OUR PRODUCTS
Our Kyanite is very good for the use in Refractory and Ceramic Purposes. The Chemical compositon of Our Kyanite is from 84-90% Aluminium Silicate (Al2O3.SiO2). The Aluminium content of our Kyanite is from 57-60% and Silcate content is from 27-30%. These figures were approved by the Ministry of Mines and Geology in Kenya.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
Our Kyanite is grouped into two classes,-Industrial Grade Kyanite and Gem Grade Kyanite. The Industrial Grade Kyanite can be used in Refractory and Ceramic industries, and the Gem Grade Kyanite can be used in the Jewelry and Colored Gemstone Industry.
A) INDUSTRIAL GRADE KYANITE
90% of our Kyanite that we mine is the Industrial Grade Kyanite. Most of the Industrial Grade Kyanite Is from 2” to10”. The different Sizes of Industrial Grade Kyanite are all grouped together.
TONS OF KYANITE IS AVAILABLE IN MIXED SIZES (FROM 2” TO 10”).
MAJORITY OF THE INDUSTRIAL GRADE KYANITE RANGES FROM THESE SIZES.
B) GEM GRADE KYANITE
Gem Grade Kyanite is good for using in the Jewelry and Gemstone Industry. The gem grade Kyanite is sold in grams. Gem Grade Kyanite can also be used by those who seek Metaphysical Energies from Kyanite.
